Welcome to Una Elementary School

Please use this website to learn about Una Elementary, find upcoming events, and communicate with our staff.  We think you will discover that Una really is "a caring community of learners!"

Congratulations to Mrs. Gibson, an exceptional third grade teacher at Una Elementary, whose dedication to her students was highlighted when she was named WKRN News 2's Educator of the Week on 1/28/10!  She is also Una's 2009-2010 Teacher of the Year!  Watch a video of Mrs. Gibson teaching in her classroom here.

Una Elementary students, with the help of their parents and teachers,

made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) in the 2008-2009 academic year for the second year in a row!
Una is a school in NCLB (No Child Left Behind) Good Standing!  Let's do the same in 2009-2010!

Keep learning!  Follow the link below to that exotic, academic place: Study Island!
