What Makes Our School Unique?
Cohn Adult High School is Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools’ best kept secret! Located in the Cohn Adult Learning Center in the historic Sylvan Park area in West Nashville, Cohn serves students 18 years of age and older who are in pursuit of a high school diploma. Cohn’s dedicated faculty and staff welcome the opportunity to serve Nashville’s adult population. There is an air of peace and serenity at Cohn that seems to permeate the building. There is also vitality and excitement that’s quite contagious. Come by for a tour of our newly remodeled facility and experience life-long learning in progress!!
Who Attends Our School?
To enroll, a student must show documentation of the following:

Davidson County Residency Enrollment applications are accepted throughout the year. Students register for classes based on individual need.
Mission Statement
The Mission of Cohn Adult High School is to provide a unique opportunity for adult students to complete their high school education and receive a diploma in a judgment-free, respectful, mature environment, and enable them to move forward in their lives.
