    Maxwell Elementary’s goal is to provide every child with the skills necessary for success in a rapidly changing world. As a staff, we believe all children can learn and should have the opportunity to develop to their greatest potential. Maxwell Elementary teachers maintain high standards and expectations for student achievement and development. Our curriculum provides a solid foundation in reading, writing, and problem solving while also challenging each child to reach his/her academic potential.

    We provide a wide variety of educational experiences that develop responsible and productive members of society.

Who Attends Our School?

 

    Students attending Maxwell live in the southeast corner of Davidson County and are zoned to Cane Ridge High School. The elementary schools in this cluster are: A.Z. Kelley Elementary, Cole Elementary, and Maxwell Elementary. The middle schools are Antioch and Thurgood Marshall.

Community Partners

  • Maxwell’s Parent/Teacher Organization’s goal is to actively involve all parents in the education of their child. Maxwell Elementary’s PTO Board is planning many activities for our community this year. All parents will be invited to participate in PTO membership and school activities.
