What Makes Our School Unique?
Welcome to Alex Green Elementary School! We are located on the outskirts of the city in beautiful northwest Davidson County.
The curriculum at Alex Green is based on the district’s academic standards in all core subjects. We are fortunate to have the benefits of the Reading First in Tennessee grant, providing funding for materials and professional development for the effective implementation of Balanced Literacy.
The Alex Green Elementary School faculty expects each of our students to be successful. At the heart our school culture is respect: respect for self, respect for others, and respect for the environment, with adults leading the way as role models for that which is expected of students. We offer a positive, nurturing environment for learning where we’re continuously striving for improvement.
Thank you for your interest in Alex Green Elementary School. We invite you to visit and share our enthusiasm for teaching and learning!
