What Makes Our School Unique?

The faculty and staff are dedicated to all our students, parents, and the community. We are here to provide a balanced curriculum for the education of all our students. We know educating our students requires a partnership between school and home. Parents, you are your child’s first and foremost teacher. It is our goal to have 100% parental support during the school year. We will offer many opportunities for teachers and parents to come together to work toward success for all students.

Glenview is a true multicultural, neighborhood school. We have an open door policy for parents and the community. It is our mission to prepare all students for a globally oriented society as we work diligently to develop lifelong learners.

Growth is evident in this area due to the active participation in the many activities that we have at Glenview.

PENCIL Partners

PENCIL Foundation, a nonprofit organization, links community resources with Nashville public schools. A PENCIL Partner is a business or other community organization that teams up with a Metro school to volunteer time and donate resources that promote student success.

With the assistance of our partners, K & S Heating and Cooling, Kroger Corporate, Embraer Aircraft, MPI and Bradshaw Builders, our expectations of success are consistently rising. In addition to financial contributions, the most significant help has come through donations of teaching supplies, books for students, incentives for students and teachers, assistance with Field Day, and a commitment to perpetuate learning and growth in our school.
