What Makes Our School Unique?
Stratford High is committed to providing quality instruction in a safe and nurturing environment. There are numerous programs and practices that make us unique. We would like to share two of these programs. Stratford is the home of the district’s Information Technology Academy (SITA).This academy offers students across the district a rigorous study of technology which can lead to a national certification in CISCO System Networking and Website Design. Our AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program is a college preparatory program that helps students with potential refine and develop skills that will ensure successful college admission and graduation. Through AVID, students have an opportunity for intensive future planning, individual tutoring, college visits, and ACT preparation.
