What Makes Our School Unique?
J.E. Moss Elementary School seeks to kindle a passion for learning in its students and to inspire them to become self-motivated, enthusiastic participants in their education.
Our vision is to become a premier elementary school with teaching that aims to strengthen the students’ moral purpose, artistic sense, and intellectual abilities - not one at the expense of the others, but a balanced and harmonious whole.
You will find that our school provides a challenging learning environment in which students from diverse racial, ethnic, and social backgrounds prepare for middle school and responsible adolescence.
At the very core of the J.E. Moss experience is an intense community atmosphere in which trusting relationships between students, teachers, parents, and community stakeholders are the major foci. Thus, the dynamic force is a strong idealism based on academic excellence and improved student achievement. We proudly serve the diverse religious, racial, and socioeconomic populations that constitute the Antioch area. J.E. Moss Elementary will do whatever it takes to make our students successful. We hope you will join us in strengthening the future of our school.
