What Makes Our School Unique?
Our building is newly renovated. We are enjoying our new facilities as well as a new staff. This year, our theme is “Caldwell School is Under Construction: Building a Strong Foundation for Excellence in Education.” We invite everyone to come out to see what makes Caldwell such a special place!

Who Attends Our School?
Caldwell is an Enhanced Option school with class sizes of 15:1 and 20 additional days of school for students. Enhanced option schools also include pre-kindergarten programs, social services, an ENCORE teacher for gifted and talented students, and after school care. Students who do not live in Caldwell’s zone must go through the application process and must provide their own transportation.
Students attending Caldwell reside northeast of downtown Nashville and are zoned to Maplewood High School. The elementary schools in the Maplewood cluster are: Caldwell Enhanced Option, Chadwell, Hattie Cotton, Glenn Enhanced Option, Shwab, and Tom Joy. The middle schools are Jere Baxter and Gra-Mar.
PENCIL Partners
PENCIL Foundation, a nonprofit organization, links community resources with Nashville public schools. A PENCIL Partner is a business or other community organization that teams up with a Metro school to volunteer time and donate resources that promote student success.
