    Bordeaux Enhanced Option Elementary School has a rich history in the Bordeaux community. Our continuous purpose is to provide meaningful learning experiences that will produce competent, articulate and confident individuals with respectful attitudes and behaviors. Our highly qualified staff is committed to ensuring success for ALL students. We accept our daily challenge to assist our students in realizing their potential. Our successes have been intertwined with parents, PENCIL Partners, community friends and neighbors for over fifty years.

PENCIL Foundation, a nonprofit organization, links community resources with Nashville public schools. A PENCIL Partner is a business or other community organization that teams up with a Metro school to volunteer time and donate resources that promote student success.

Who Attends Our School?

 

    Bordeaux is an enhanced option school where class sizes are 15:1 and the school years includes 20 additional days for students. Enhanced option schools also include pre- kindergarten programs, social services, an ENCORE teacher for gifted and talented students, and after school care. Students who do not live in the enhanced option school’s zone must go through the application process and must provide their own transportation.

    Students zoned to Bordeaux live in the northwest corner of Davidson County and are zoned to Whites Creek High School. The elementary schools in this cluster are: Bordeaux Enhanced Option, Cumberland, Alex Green, and Joelton. The middle schools in this cluster are Ewing Park and Joelton (Middle).
