What Makes Our School Unique?

Next to world peace, our nation’s most important goal is the development of a high quality educational system that will prepare our children for life in a fast changing and complex world. Bellshire Design Center  is working to achieve this goal with the mission of cultivating and celebrating the talents and gifts of all students.

Today our design includes a low pupil-teacher ratio that allows us to meet the individual needs of children and engage in inquiry and project based instruction. We offer a challenging curriculum with a focus on the arts and humanities. Technology is an important instructional tool and thematic units are being developed at each grade level. There is a clear focus in academic achievement as grade level teams plan together and use data to guide instructional decisions. The faculty is committed to staff development that strengthens their ability to deliver the best education possible.
