Mr. Lee

Mr. Dan Lee grew up in a small rural town in Eastern North Carolina and  he moved to Nashville in 2001.  He attended college in both North Carolina and in Tennessee.   He is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University here in Nashville with a degree in Elementary Education and is certified to teach kindergarten through 8th grade.  Prior to teaching 3rd grade, Mr. Lee taught 4th grade here at Una.

Aside from his love of teaching and working with students, Mr. Lee enjoys time at his home in Nashville, near the Opry Mills area.  He has two adorable, and very spoiled,  basset hounds, Savannah (9) and Gypsy (8), who he refers to as "his girls".  He also has a bird, a 10-year old cockatiel,  named Bud, who is as spoiled as "his girls" are!

Mr. Lee loves to read and enjoys helping his students become better readers.  He really enjoys sharing our Essential Literature books with his classes, especially books like Muggie Maggie and How to be Cool in 3rd Grade.
