We have enjoyed getting to know each other through our unit, “Myself and Others”. Our class is busy working on learning our alphabet, sound/symbols, sight words, numbers and other math concepts. We enjoy our journal time and Write Reflections. Center time is a highlight of each child’s day. Our class has studied seasonal changes and enjoyed our first field trip to the apple orchard. Other field trips planned for kindergarten include: the pumpkin farm, TPAC Artsmart performance, Purity Dairy, Adventure Science Center, downtown public library, Nashville Children’s Theatre, the Nashville Zoo and Warner Park Nature Center.
