In order for a child to be come successful and achieve in school, he/she must have a positive self-concept. We want to help every child realize that he/she can achieve and there are no limits to what can be learned and accomplished. We want the children to feel free to take learning risks in an environment that nurtures freedom of expression and places value on effort as well as ability. We want our classrooms to be a place we all enjoy coming to each day, where everyone feels special, and knows that we care about each and every one of them.
