Guidance Program

Una offers a comprehensive developmental counseling program for grades K-4.  Ms. Bebbie Minter and Ms Jenny Pankow provide delivery of services through whole class lessons dealing with educational, career, and personal/social development.  Individual and small group counseling are also provided.  Programs used at Una are Safe @ Last (a personal safety program) and Second Step ( a violence prevention program).  Group materials include Protecting You, Protecting Me (M.A.D.D.), Twelve Stepping Stones, and Putting on the Brakes.  Other useful materials deal with alcohol/drug prevention, ADHD, divorce, loss, and other content areas.  The Una Counseling Center can be reached by calling 360-2921 and dialing extensions 104 or 143.



Bebbie Minter

Bebbie Minter is a native and graduate of Auburn.  She earned her Masters from Trevecca Nazarene University.  She has taught all grades K-8, and has been an elementary counselor since 1992.  Having taught in four states and in Turkey, Mrs. Minter believes Una to be the best school on Earth!
