EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:
Documented evidence of sufficient formal post secondary training, education or experience computer technology, server architectural design and administration, data base architectural knowledge working in Microsoft EQL. Documented evidence working with Storage Area Networks, storage tape library, server hardware installation, upgrade and repair; LAN/WAN knowledge, management and support; system administration and maintenance. Certification in NET+, MCSE.MCDBA are recommended.
Five (5) years experience in all aspects of Microsoft Windows NT/2000/2003, and system administration. Detailed knowledge of networking administration support, current server hardware and software support, and maintenance.
Responsible for design, construction and operational activities related to the servers, storage systems and other similar devices used to support district initiatives. Manages assigned staff as they receive track, and resolve and respond to request for support assistance related to the various systems maintained (hardware), Software (operating systems, application, etc.).
