The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces a vacancy in the following position:

Senior Account Clerk – Professional Development
12 Months – Grade 6 – Base hourly rate $12.19

Employment Standards:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent supplemented by training and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and other current software applications. Three (3) years of progressively responsible work experience that would provide the skills and abilities needed for financial record keeping, data base management and excellent secretarial skills.

Knowledge of secretarial methods and practices including ability to write clear, concise and grammatically correct correspondence; excellent organizational skills; ability to process accounting documentation; ability to work with confidential and sensitive information; excellent word processing and spreadsheet skills; excellent oral and written communications skills; proficient use of general office equipment; ability to work successfully in a team; ability to be flexible in schedule and duties. Must be self-motivated.
