EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

High School Diploma or G.E.D.  Five (5) years of increasingly responsible school bus transportation experience with two (2) years in the area of dispatching.

Serves as liaison between the Transportation Department and the Special Education Department on all aspects of bus monitors issues relative to special needs students.  Represents the Transportation Department in conferences and meetings as directed.  Coordinates the interviewing and hiring and training process for monitors.  Coordinates and manages all aspects of the bus monitor program; works closely with school based personnel, bus drivers, parents and the Transportation Department.
