The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces a vacancy in the following position: 

                                       FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
                                              MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT
                             12 Months - Grade 8 - Base Hourly Rate - $14.93

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

High School Diploma or GED.  Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry trades.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics; ability to work independently and cooperatively with other personnel and work well under stress; ability to organize and prioritize work and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing; knowledge of the standard practices, tools and equipment of the HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry trades and their use; knowledge of applicable building codes.
