The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces a vacancy in the following position:

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

12 Months - Grade 12 - Base Hourly Rate $24.57

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

An Associate Degree from an accredited College or University in computer technology, application software design and analysis, database design and structure, current programming language standards and development techniques, project management, and other areas associated with enterprise software development. Bachelors Degree preferred.

Three years of successful experience in application software design, development and implementation. Knowledge and proven experience with SQL and other currently adopted database platforms, programming languages such as ASP.Net, C#.Net, JavaScript, AJAX, etc., current development techniques, procedural logic, requirements gathering techniques, and project management.
