The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces a vacancy in the following position:
Coordinator of Social and Emotional Supports
Curriculum and Instruction
12 Months – Grade 15 – Base Hourly Rate $40.16
Grant Funded: The length of employment in this position will not exceed the length of the grant from which it is funded

Employment Standards:
Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education or related field from an accredited college or university; ten (10) years experience in mental health, social work, prevention or related social services field. Experience should also include: various youth services systems, community development and/or coalitions; working within educational settings, plus management experience required.
Essential Function: Develop a comprehensive framework for social emotional learning, asset development and addressing barriers to learning and lead the initiative to promote culture change necessary to successfully institutionalize this framework to ensure student success. Lead, coordinate and align social emotional and mental health services to support this vision while working closely with community providers to support a comprehensive system of care for student.
