MNPS Presents Preliminary Budget for 2008-2009
Metro Nashville Public Schools has approved a preliminary budget for the 2008-2009 school year that outlines the dollars necessary to maintain current service levels as well as fund district priorities to help all students meet No Child Left Behind requirements. The budget has been reviewed by Mayor Karl Dean, who has recommended full funding. Members of the Metropolitan Council must give final approval to all school district funding.
