Use of the Media Center – Please review with students before your scheduled visit.

1.                 Teachers must sign-up and collaborate with the media specialists.

a.      Make certain your students understand your expectations for the visit.

b.     Please state clearly NO FOOD OR DRINK in the Media Center.

c.     Chairs and books are to be replaced in their proper place.

d.     All students wanting to use the Internet must have a parent permission form on file with the Media Center and wear their picture ID.

1.     Students must sign Internet usage notebook each time they use the Internet.

e.      Please do not sign up for Media Center use if you know you are going to be absent.

2.                 Individual students must have a pink pass with the  date, time, name of teacher, student(s) and purpose of their visit.

a.      They must scan in at the front desk.

b.     Please call the Media Center to make sure there is available space before sending
student(s) or small groups  to the Media Center for independent research.

3.                 Due to a lack of funding in the Media Center, there is a charge for some services.

a.      .20 per page for black and white computer printing.

b.     .50 per page for color computer printing

c.     .15 per page for copy machine
