I am originally from Rome, GA. I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education K-6 from Middle Tennessee State University. I am currently working on my ELL certification through University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and then plan on getting my master’s from Tennessee State University.

How do you prefer to communicate with parents?
I prefer to communicate with parents in person, phone, or email. A daily folder will be sent home that will contain information about your child’s behavior and that will explain what we are doing at school.

Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked in Human Resources at HCA. I have three children and three step-children. My husband and I enjoy going to sporting events whether its baseball, football, lacrosse or hockey. We are huge Vandy fans!
