Philosophy: Dance education fosters beauty through movement while providing students the opportunity to develop intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through the exploration of dance, students develop critical thinking skills and personal integrity. Dance education promotes an appre¬ciation for diversity in view points, while establishing team building. A sequential dance education program presents cultural history through the perspective of the arts.
