Education/Teaching Experience:

I am originally from Memphis, TN. I graduated from Craigmont High. I received my Bachelar’s Degree in Elementary Education (k-4) from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN. I received my Master’s Degree in Education from Bethel College in McKenzie, TN. I taught my first year in second grade at Milan Special School District in Milan, TN and then the next four years I taught Kindergarten at Thelma Barker Elementary in Jackson, TN.

Favorite Children’s Book:

I don’t have a favorite book but I do have a favorite author. I love books by Eric Carle.

How do you prefer to communicate with parents?

I prefer to communicate with parents in person, by phone, or by email. A daily folder will be sent home that will contain information about your child’s behavior and that will explain what we are doing at school.

I love to travel, shop, playing basketball. I just like to have fun!!
