- Provide the most recent MYP publications to teachers and administrators to ensure all are
familiar with the Programme’s philosophy and requirements
- Meet in vertical and grade level teams to develop units of study
- Keep parents and community informed of progress in implementation
- Complete Part B of the MYP application
This implementation period should normally last one year, but may be continued into two years if necessary.
LANCE LOTT, CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Customer Service Center
Planning continues on the implementation of the new Customer Service Center at the district office
(see April 22 Board Letter for more details). This week we met with the individuals that are in the
positions that are being displaced by the new Customer Service Center jobs. Human Resources
personnel explained the process that we will use in attempting to place these individuals in other
open positions in the district.
We also conducted two “town-hall” type meetings today for anyone in the district offices that
was interested in learning more about the Customer Service Center. Employees were able to get
information about how the center will operate and coordinate its activities with other departments.
We expect to post the Customer Service Center jobs the week of May 9 th and begin interviews at the end of May.
