The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools announces a vacancy in the following positions:

ELL PROGRAM ASSISTANT, 5-8 TEACHER TRAINER
                        ELL PROGRAM ASSISTANT, 9-12 TEACHER TRAINER

QUALIFICATIONS: The ELL program assistants must possess ability to establish and maintain working relationships with others; ability to deal effectively and sensitively with international parents and children from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds; conduct regular school and classroom visits of all ELL Centers; assist with the program development, program management, and staff development of the ELL program within the policies and rules established by the Board of Education; provide individual, grade level, and/or site support to teachers who have ELLs or Transitional students. The ELL program assistants will work under the direct supervision of the ELL coordinator.

EDUCATION: Must possess ELL certification and a minimum of four (4) years of teaching ELL, computer skills, and leadership skills.

SALARY: Teacher salary – 10 months. Career ladder eligible.
