Course Description
Spanish II IB is a fourth year level course for seniors. It offers students the continued process of learning to speak Spanish at an advanced level. Listening, speaking, reading, and writing are refined so that students are able to comprehend and produce Spanish at a high level of proficiency. In addition, the culture of the Hispanic world is studied in greater detail. These proficiencies are demonstrated through the rigors of the IB examination and/or the Advanced Placement Spanish Language examination.
Course of Study
Grammatical Concepts: The student is expected to use and understand simple to complex structures.
- Spanish AP Literature reviews and refines grammar structures previously studied in depth. It provides an opportunity to use appropriate structures in real communicative situations, to analyze Hispanic literature, and to compare literary works.
