Course Description
This course offers a knowledgeable foundation of rhythmic activities which is essential in the development of skill related movement. The course also introduces students to the concepts of educational gymnastics.
Course of Study
This course provides students the opportunity to develop and improve basic rhythmic movements and gymnastic routines. Activities could include but are not limited to the following:
The student will practice body control through various educational gymnastic activities appropriate to the individual’s ability and confidence level in a non-competitive setting. Activities should only be taught when proper materials and facilities are available.
