Course Description
This course involves instruction and practice in the care and handling of tackle, in target shooting, field archery, archery games, and tournament shooting.
Course of Study
Archery skills will progress from an introductory to an advanced level. Emphasis is given to the safety skills necessary for target shooting, to knowledge of archery terminology, and to acquaint students with a lifetime activity. An opportunity to experience archery competition will culminate the unit. Activities could include but are not limited to the following:
